Does Murder of Travis Combs Link to Disappearance of Teen Jabez Spann in Newtown Fl

UPDATE: September 29th, 2017, Let’s get real here, my article here is in NO WAY disparaging of missing teen Jabez Spann who as by all accounts is the all-American kid, football player, good student, on the straight and narrow and not deserving of what apparently has happened to him. I have been a licensed private investigator in Sarasota Fl for over 24 years, I am well aware as to what goes on in Newtown. My article is published in the attempt to produce any leads that I could pass onto the Sarasota Police Department (SPD).

Do you believe in the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy or just plain old coincidences, well I don’t especially when it involves a missing teen who just happened to live a 2 minute walk from where a guy involved with the sale of drugs in Newtown was found dead (most likely shot). SARASOTA — The death of Travis Combs whose body was found Monday, August 28, 2017 is now being called a homicide and it links to Jabez Spann's kidnapping and murder by the same 3 Newtown thugs.

SAD UPDATE: Wednesday, February 20, 2019 Sarasota Teen Jabez Spann was kidnapped and murdered for being an eye-ball witness to the murder of Travis Combs by 3 Newtown thugs.

UPDATE: Body of Jabez Spann found in rural East Manatee County Fl. From information obtained at a press conference Tuesday night at Sarasota Police headquarters that I attended, the remains of Sarasota teen Jabez Spann who was last seen in September 2017 have been located in a rural section of Manatee County. Sarasota Deputy Chief of Police Pat Robinson provided the "heartbreaking update" that the remains of Jabez Spann, 14, were found on Saturday Feb 16th, 2019.

Jabez Spann's skeletal remains were found on
Saturday Feb 16th in the 4100 block of Canal Road Palmetto Fl. Police don’t yet know if the teen was killed there or if he was killed elsewhere before his body was dumped. Where Jabez Spann was found is extremely dark at night and the nearest homes to the south are abandoned. Yet Jabez Spann's remains were just a few feet from the pavement of Canal Road, where a countless amount of vehicles travel daily.
It is 15.9 miles and a 30 min drive from the 22nd Street area of the Newtown section of Sarasota where Jabez Spann was known to hang out to the 4100 block of Canal Rd in Palmetto Fl where his skeletal remains were found on Saturday Feb 16th, you would travel directly north on Rte 301, continue on rte 41 in Bradenton and turn right on 17th Street E (known drug area) and then left on 16th Ave E also known as Canal Rd Palmetto Fl.

"This is a tremendous loss to their family and our community," SPD Deputy Chief Pat Robinson said during a news conference Tuesday night. "We do not believe at this point that he left Sarasota under his own volition and went to Manatee County, where his body was found." "We've always felt that there are individuals in our community that are scared to come forward," SPD Deputy Chief Pat Robinson said.
"The folks that did it, we believe are from our community, (Newtown). We know that people in our community know things that they haven't shared yet." SPD Deputy Chief Pat Robinson said. It is readily apparent to me from information obtained from SPD probable cause affidavits that Sarasota Teen Jabez Spann was kidnapped and murdered for being an eye-ball witness to the murder of Travis Combs by 3 Newtown thugs.
SARASOTA: ABC7 News at 7 with Alan Cohn has and will continue it's coverage of missing Jabez Spann and the unsolved murder of Travis Combs. Newtown Section of Sarasota Fl No Snitchin: Travis Combs Murdered & Jabez Spann Kidnapped and Murdered 18 Months Ago & No One Knows Nuttin? If a kid goes missing like Jabez Spann, no fuss, no muss, no struggle just vanishes without a trace who do you look for, SOMEONE HE KNEW. Teresa Richardson is the aunt of 31-year-old Travis Combs who was murdered on August 28th, 2017, shot to death in a vacant lot in the 1600 block of 22nd St, right next to her house, in the Newtown Section of Sarasota Fl. Jabez Spann knew the people who murdered Travis Combs, he was kidnapped and murdered by them to keep him permanently quiet.

The Sarasota Police Department reports that Travis Combs, 31, was found dead at about 9:20 p.m. near 22nd Street and Palmadelia Avenue. There is no indication that the public is at risk. The investigation is ongoing. Detectives are not releasing additional information at this time but ask anyone with information on the case to call Detective Kim Laster at 941-364-7327 or Crime Stoppers 941-366-TIPS. Missing Teen Jabez Spann was living only 453 feet from where the body of Travis Combs was found.
From surveillance today Thursday 9/28/2017 in Newtown near 22nd Street and 23rd Street, it was observed that there is an unobstructed view from the house on 23rd Street where Jabez Spann was staying to the street corner where Travis Combs was murdered near 22nd Street and Palmadelia Avenue, shot in the back, on 8/28/2017 at about 9:20 p.m. Jabez Span was staying on 23rd Street just two houses from the corner of 23rd Street and N. Orange Ave. It is very possible that if Jabez Spann was home Tuesday night on 8/28/2017 that he could have seen someone shoot Travis Combs or at least see a car speed away onto N. Orange Ave from the shooting that he recognized. It is only 453 feet from the house where Jabez Spann was staying on 23rd Street to the street corner where Travis Combs was murdered near 22nd Street and Palmadelia Avenue.
Travis L. Combs DOB 9/23/1985, black male, his murder most likely drug related as in May 2014 Travis Combs was arrested in front of 2222 MLK Dr Newtown with 1.6 lbs of marijuana in the trunk of his car, he may have lived in Arcadia but spent a lot of time in the Newtown area. Travis Combs had a passenger in his car when arrested in May 2014, a black male, age 36 with a violent history with robbery and drug arrests, he is also a registered sex offender who molested a child under 12, he is linked to a drug house in the 2100 block of Banneker Way SRQ.
NEWTOWN NO SNITCHIN: Sarasota Police Chief Bernadette DiPino said the case has left her department frustrated. DiPino said there are areas her officers want to search, but they are private property and without probable cause, officers cannot conduct those searches without consent (NEWTOWN). “We are doing everything we can, but it’s been very frustrating that we are not getting information from our community (NEWTOWN),” she said. “So we are asking again and reaching out to the citizens in our community to please consider coming forward.” DiPino is convinced someone in the community (NEWTOWN) knows what happened to Jabez, and so is his mother, Tawana Spann.
UPDATE Friday November 24th, 2017…. ABC-7 News… document states that detectives met with Lucille Tillery, grandmother of Jabez Spann. She told authorities that Reginald Parker confessed to her that he witnessed the murder of Travis Combs. During the conversation, Tillery says, Parker also admitted that he saw Jabez Spann exit a home at the time of the murder, and Jabez Spann yelled “oh my God Y’all shot him.” see
May 18. 2017.. Newtown Drug Wars Spill Out On City Streets of Sarasota Fl, 3 Drive By Shootings in 7 Days and drug dealer Alfa Victor Young was murdered May 18th at Leonard Reid Avenue and 32nd Street Sarasota Fl exact same area of recent drive by shootings no coincidences here. SARASOTA COUNTY — Detectives are investigating what they believe is a homicide after a man was found dead Thursday in a yard. According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, a resident found a man dead in her backyard at about 10 p.m. in the area of Leonard Reid Avenue and 32nd Street. The man was identified as Alfa Victor Young, 33, of Sarasota. He is believed to be the victim of a homicide, detectives say. A vacuum has been created by the murder of drug dealer Alfa Victor Young aka Trinidad on May 18th, 2017, it is very apparent with the 3 drive by shootings in the exact same area of where Alfa Victor Young’s body was found that competing drug dealers want his territory and others want payback for the murder of their pal Trinidad, it will only get worse!
